Explain variation of Ka,kB,kW,Degree of ionisation,pH,Poh with temperature
It will depend if the reaction is endothermic or exothermic. After that you can apply Le-Chatlier's principle then conclude
e.g. For water:
Since dissociation of water is endothermic. i.e. if temp is increased the rxn shifts forward.
i.e. [H+] and [OH-] increase
pH of neutral soln decreases.
Kw increases and pKw decreases.
@apurv-raj so degree of dissociation of water is proportional to temperature?
