    If atmospheric CO2 levels increase, why will C3 plants be benefitted more than C4 plants?

    According to this graph, rate of CO2 uptake is higher for C4 plants than C3 plants for all conditions of light and concentration of CO2. Please explain.

    According to graph CO2 compensation is higher for C3plant shown500ul/l &less than400 (360)ul/l for C4plants
    i.e.In C3plants the rate of photosynthesis increases with increase in CO3 concentration,upto about 500ul/l
    -In C4 plants the saturation is reached at a concentration of about 360ul/l

    CO2 compensation for
    a. C3 plant is around 50μL/L
    b. C4 plant is around 0-5μL/L

    In the graph, the rate of carbon dioxide uptake is increasing even after optimum value mentioned. The rate should decrease after optimum, isn't it?
