Please explain option (d) and why it is correct

  • @sri
The stability of lyophilic colloid is due to the solvation, that is, a protective layer is created around the colloidal particles by the dispersion medium in which they are dispersed. Hence, higher the solvation of a layer of dispersion medium, higher will be the stability of lyophilic colloid. Correct option is (d) .
