Solving too many books

Is solving too many questions from different books and of different varieties good in maths and physics.But do the top rankers in jee advance do?Do they solve 2-3 books for a topic?

i think concept is important. not solving too many questions

Selecting 1-2 reference books and solving the problems there thoroughly will give you a clarity in concept and also exposure to different models. Never try to solve too many problems. It will just waste your time and the
concept doesn't settle in your mind properly.
