Can vegetable oil be made up of anything other than triglyceride? If triglyceride is not present, then glycerol (glycerine) will not be formed after hydrolysis. Isn't it?

Sucrose is itself called invert sugar. What will be formed if sucrose reacts with NaCl? Please explain.

Alcoholic iodine can also mean any alcohol other than ethanol, isn't it? So how can we be sure that it will give iodoform test? Please explain.
