Is the answer given correct? Why isn't only option b the answer? In Beckmann's rearrangement only the group lying anti to OH will migrate, isn't it? Please explain.
@anag any of the two groups ph and ch3 can be anti to oh after first step ... So both a and b will be formed

@anag nh2oh can be attached to carbonyl group in two ways with equal probability... In one the ch3 group will be anti to oh and in the other pH group will be anti to oh
