    In first step PhCH(Cl)(CH3) is formed

    In 2nd step there will be SN2 rxn and instead of -Cl,
    -OH grp will come.

    After oxidn with pcc, -OH becomes ketone grp.

    So PhCOCH3 is correct option.

    Cl2/hv is halogenation rxn in alkanes... it follows free radical mech.
