    Ans: c
Can someone please explain what is the meaning of this question? How can 1 fcc unit cell be shared by many cells? A corner or a face of a unit cell can be shared by many unit cells. A whole cell cannot be shared, isn't it?

Why can't option d be the answer? Please explain.

  • @anag there are 6 faces of a unit cell
Imagine a cube as a unit cell. Now the cube has 6 faces on which another cube can be placed/joined
